All orders will be completed within 48 hours, once utility lines have been located through Sunshine State One Call of Florida (811). Please note that if any properties appear to have utility lines underground, it could take up to 48 hours (Not Including Weekends or Holidays) for Sunshine State One Call of Florida to locate the lines.

The Sign Guy Inc will cover most of the Polk County Area, plus parts of Hillsborough County within our regular service area. We can also service areas outside the regular service area, but additional trip charges may apply. Out of area pricing can be found under the Polk County tab when ordering your post installation. Please note that our reduce Out of Area trip charges are for our Preferred Agents that use our services on a regular basis. We do that because we unfortunately take a loss when installing Out of Area installs with our special trip charge pricing. The special pricing was created to help Agents market listings outside of their normal area. It's just one of many ways of how we give back to the Agents that support our business. If you are an Agent that is submitting a post install request because our Out of Area Trip charge is cheaper than your current installation company or your current installation company refuses to travel to that area, please know that we are sorry, but we are unable to provide our special pricing for out of area trip charges unless you choose to use our services on a regular basis in the future. We go above and beyond to support our local agents but that special pricing is something that we can only offer to Agents that use our services on a regular basis. All orders can be submitted by accessing our website at www.TheSignGuy.org or by using the Up Sign Down App on your phone 24 hours a day. Please Note, that any orders submitted after 5pm or on the weekends and holidays, will be submitted on the next business day.

The original installation price is for a 6 month period, until the house is sold, listing is cancelled or the listing expires. Whichever occurs first. If a post is required beyond 6 months an extension fee charge may be applied. The extension fee will allow the post to remain in the ground an additional 6 months. If you do not wish to pay the extension fee, simply submit a removal request and the sign post will be removed from the listing to avoid any additional charges. Please note that The Sign Guy Inc reserves the right to remove a post after 6 months without notice if the agent does not make contact to extend or remove the post.

Our goal is to offer a sign post installation service at the most affordable price possible. In order for us to keep our costs low, Agents will have to assume some responsibility for stolen, lost or damaged items while out in the field. Here are the replacement costs for the following items:

This will depend on several factors. The major decision would depend on the location of the underground utility lines. Once that has been determined, our goal is to pick the location with the best visibility so potential buyers are able to easily view your sign while passing by. If the agent would like to specify a special location, they can do so under the special instructions section when ordering the installation and by marking the area prior to the post installation. Please note that any special requests can be altered if they conflict with the underground utility lines. If an agent or homeowner requests the post to be relocated after installation has been made and the agent did not provide a special location, then a relocation charge of $15 may apply.
Important Notice: Once the utility lines have been checked, The Sign Guy Inc will install the post where it is most visible but also clear of the utility lines and easements. If an Agent or homeowner requests a post to be moved after a post has been installed, The Sign Guy Inc can no longer be liable for damage utility lines or missing signs/posts. (Example: Agent or homeowner would like the post to be moved closer to the road but doing so would go against The Sign Guy Inc recommendations because it would require digging near utility lines.)

Effective January 1, 2026:
Due to inflation costs, we are no longer able to offer free post installs to our Agents. We are committed to providing the best service possible to our Agents and truly apologize for any inconvenience this might cause our Agents who depend on the savings that the free install provided over the years. I know Agents understand how hard it is to run a small business in today’s market and we appreciate all the support that you have given us. We will continue to provide affordable out of area trip charges, so Agents can market for listings outside their current area.
